Role Summary

The Catering Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service by preparing and serving classic cocktails to guests. This position requires strong communication skills to engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and suggest various menu offerings. Responsibilities also include managing stock requisitions and maintaining cleanliness in the service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver all necessary supplies for catered events to designated locations.
  • Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established standards.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of the venue post-event.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and catering area.
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and available products.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Accurately manage stock counts and verify against consumption sheets.
  • Promptly fulfill guest orders using POS and credit card systems as necessary.
  • Verify guest age for alcohol service by checking valid identification.
  • Adhere to all venue policies, including Alcohol Service and Health/Safety regulations.
  • Assist with stock requisition for upcoming events.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Washington State Class 12 MAST Permit.
  • Must possess a valid Washington State Food Safety Permit.
