Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time, on-call Event Service Specialist responsible for welcoming, assisting, and serving guests during various functions and gatherings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Attend to the needs of guests by answering inquiries, taking orders, and relaying special requests to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Move throughout the venue with trays of appetizers and beverages, ensuring guests are well served.
  • Guide guests to essential services and amenities, and provide tours of the venue as needed.
  • Assist in event setup and breakdown, including arranging table linens, place settings, and buffet stations.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications for Event Service Specialist:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Must meet age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Demonstrates courtesy and attentiveness towards guests.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy items.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
To excel as an Event Service Specialist, you should have outstanding customer service and communication abilities. A professional demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent service are essential.

Compensation and Benefits
