Job Summary:

The Catering Bartender plays a crucial role in ensuring guests receive outstanding service while enjoying expertly crafted beverages. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to serve a variety of classic cocktails. Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing menu recommendations, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and set up all supplies for catered events at designated locations.
  • Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to established standards.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the location post-event, ensuring all areas are tidy.
  • Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
  • Stock and maintain the bar and catering equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests at all times.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu and available products.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Verify stock levels and ensure the area is properly stocked and organized.
  • Process guest orders efficiently using POS systems and verify age for alcohol service.
  • Adhere to all venue policies, including those related to alcohol service and health regulations.
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and engage actively with guests.
  • Physical capability to reach, lift, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid Washington State Class 12 MAST Permit and Food Safety Permit are required.
