With a target of owning approximately 25,000 assets, we are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee comprehensive asset and vendor management for chassis.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will leverage a diverse skill set and collaborate across key functional areas within the intermodal sector, including capacity management, contract oversight, vendor relations, cost enhancement initiatives, pricing strategies, and financial analysis to optimize vendor performance while serving as the vertical lead.

This position requires cross-functional collaboration and a deep understanding of the long-term needs for developing chassis balancing automation products.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to apply their extensive experience to drive a successful profit and loss strategy.

They will be adept at delivering results at both strategic and operational levels, fostering innovation, overcoming challenges, and achieving sustainable growth.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience in supply chain, transportation, or logistics network management solutions.
  • Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
  • Establish clear objectives for programs, utilizing data analytics to drive enhancements and meet performance metrics.
  • Navigating and resolving ambiguities in business scenarios through creative problem-solving.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects based on customer needs and technical team insights.
  • Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems to prevent common project pitfalls.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to prevent escalation into significant issues.
  • Communicate regularly with senior managers, business leaders, and stakeholders to support key initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
  • Effectively manage and communicate project budgets.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience utilizing data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Proven track record in owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 6+ years of experience in driving process improvements.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, engaging with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Experience in building processes, project management, and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean analytical techniques.
