Job Overview

As a key player in ensuring quality standards for designated suppliers, you will be responsible for implementing quality plans and overseeing supplier qualifications. Your role will involve monitoring supplier performance through scorecards and conducting audits to ensure compliance and drive necessary improvements. Your contributions will significantly impact both your work and that of your team, focusing on the execution of standard activities and providing guidance within established policies and routines.

Key Responsibilities

Roles and Duties
  • Engage in both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, encompassing supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance assessments, while guiding key suppliers towards achieving industrial excellence.
  • Enhance your understanding of theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline to effectively implement functional policies and strategies.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of essential business drivers to inform your work, recognizing how your team's efforts integrate with broader organizational goals.
  • Exercise some degree of autonomy in decision-making within a defined framework, resolving issues that require sound judgment and knowledge of established procedures, while consulting senior team members for guidance on complex matters.
  • Foster strong interpersonal relationships, particularly in customer-facing roles, acting as the liaison between customers and the organization, and effectively communicating technical information.
Qualifications Required
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant quality experience.
Preferred Attributes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute initiatives.
  • Familiarity with APQP and PPAP methodologies, along with core defect prevention tools such as PFMEA, PFD, CP, MSA, and CpK.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive and may vary based on experience, education, and skill set. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary.
