Dal-Tile is seeking a dedicated Credit and Collections Specialist to join our finance team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Regional Credit Manager to support both internal and external customer relationships. You'll play a vital part in ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong financial health for our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high volume of incoming credit and collection calls, effectively resolving overdue accounts.
  • Conduct thorough research and resolve customer chargebacks promptly and professionally.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and cash applications with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support for the assigned area, including aging reports, filing, correspondence, lien waivers, write-offs, account reconciliation, refunds, NSF checks, and internal/external communication.
  • Maintain all assigned accounts within established performance standards and actively participate in quality improvement processes.
  • Process lien and bond waivers and releases in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with lien and bond waivers and releases is essential.
  • Knowledge of lien laws is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (moderate to advanced skills).
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in analysis and collections.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with various company departments.
