Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute activities related to delinquency control, including the management of delinquent accounts and the development of strategies to minimize losses.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing collection calls, ensuring effective communication with members and credit unions.
  • Send notifications and letters to members regarding past-due accounts, maintaining accurate records of member accounts.
  • Inform members about outstanding accounts, providing clear and concise information to facilitate positive resolutions.
  • Utilize available tools and resources to achieve positive resolutions, including the management of repossession proceedings, litigation, and bankruptcy referrals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of member accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • This is an in-office position, requiring reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Must be a self-driven and motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in credit union, banking, or related fields is essential.
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients and members, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with repossession, litigation, and bankruptcy processes is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Hourly pay with guaranteed full-time hours.
