Job Title: Credit Administrator

At Wholesale Electric Supply Co. of Houston, we are seeking a highly skilled Credit Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various credit and administrative functions in our Credit Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various credit and administrative functions in the Credit Department, including new customer account setup and maintenance.
  • Process and review credit reports from reputable credit bureaus, such as DNBi, Credit Safe, and NACM, to determine credit limits and make recommendations to senior credit personnel.
  • Update customer information in our New Customer Account spreadsheet for management reviews and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage cash and credit card accounts, including charging and checking refunds, and processing customer tax and miscellaneous adjustments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with credit department needs and director of credit assignments, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of credit collection experience and/or administrative assistant experience.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under high-pressure situations.
  • High degree of professionalism, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 40 hours of work per week. The employee must work in an office setting, using standard office equipment, and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
