The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Seattle. As a key member of our SPG Mechanical WW division, you'll play a crucial role in establishing the McKinstry brand in a fast-growing construction market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead generation and customer service
  • Proposal development and customer acquisition
  • Producing accurate estimates and assembling quality proposals
  • Building and owning market strategies
  • Staying up-to-date in the marketplace
  • Partnering with internal resources to ensure deliverables meet timelines and requirements
  • Assisting the Senior Account Executive with larger projects
  • Coordinating with Business Unit Manager to ensure successful execution of projects
  • Providing support to customers with project financing and contracting issues
  • Acting as the client's single point of accountability
  • Initiating and developing personal relationships with potential and existing clients
Requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities of a Sales Engineer
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or equivalent business experience
  • Five years of experience with a mechanical or electrical construction contractor, engineering firm, or vendor
  • Two years of experience leading and closing sales
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, and estimates
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure mechanical and electrical systems
