About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Co-Op to join our team at J.C. Cannistraro, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, including onboarding, recruitment, benefits, and HRIS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration: Assist with HRIS projects and data audits to ensure data integrity across HR systems and functional areas. Provide support with general employee inquiries and requests, and assist with the coordination of recruitment processes.
  • Learning & Development: Assist with the development of on-demand employee training materials, and gain exposure to content development using LinkedIn Learning and software programs such as SnagIt and Camtasia. Learn LMS administration and gain experience navigating as an admin within a learning management system.
  • Recruiting: Assist the recruiter with scheduling interviews, and shadow to learn more about the Recruiting function. Update job descriptions to a new format and upload them into the applicable folders.
Requirements
  • 0-1 Years' Experience
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business or a related field
  • Interested in exploring a variety of roles in human resources
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; interacts professionally with employees, candidates, vendors, and other external partners
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and good decision making are required
  • Demonstrated organizational/planning skills

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
