We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.

Job Summary:

This full-time position is accountable for the coordination of nursing care and maintains standards of professional nursing. Responsibilities include:

  • Delegating patient care to support staff according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, and adequacy of resources.
  • Float to other nursing units to care for patients within their training and scope of practice as needed.
  • Participating in the Code Team, Trauma Team, and Rapid Response Team.
  • Working every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday rotation.
  • Flexible self-scheduling.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and eligible for SD licensure. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) certifications will be obtained within one year of hire.

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System has a Drug Free Workplace Policy. An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
