Position Overview:

The role entails the supervision and administration of the Electrical Safety Audit & Licensing (ESAL) and Power Services Controllers (PSCO) within the transportation sector. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety regulations, performing investigations, managing certification processes, and engaging with regulatory entities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee electrical licensing operations for transportation facilities
  • Conduct investigations into electrical incidents and provide actionable recommendations
  • Enhance Electrical Safety awareness through informative sessions
  • Administer the Certification of Authorisation framework
  • Support safe shutdown and re-energisation of electrical installations
  • Collaborate with regulatory organizations
  • Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures for licensing
  • Supervise ESAL team activities
  • Lead the PSCO unit
  • Plan and facilitate staff development initiatives
  • Engage with authorities on power-related matters
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Possession of valid Electrical PE and LEW certifications
  • Proven experience in the maintenance of electrical systems
Required Skills:
  • Technical proficiency in asset and work management processes
  • Familiarity with SAP and IBM Maximo systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
  • Understanding of IT policies and procedures
  • Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office applications
  • Resourceful, analytical thinker, and effective team collaborator
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
