Job Overview
The Lead Electrical Systems Engineer will collaborate closely with the Project Team to execute the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute electrical engineering tasks for various projects.
2. Develop detailed electrical function specifications, layouts, PLC I/O lists, and wiring schematics.
3. Conduct selectivity studies for electrical products and compile project-specific electrical Bill of Materials (BOM).
4. Generate Requests for Quotation/Offer and Purchase Requests for electrical BOM.
5. Create comprehensive electrical installation documentation and provide technical support during installation phases.
6. Prepare inspection test sheets for electrical testing and measurement.
7. Assess test results and implement necessary corrective actions.
8. Draft operational and maintenance manuals for project-specific electrical products.
9. Actively participate in project meetings with management teams, clients, and contractors as required.

Leadership Role:
Oversee electrical engineers on significant projects, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, and delivery of electrical engineering tasks and work packages.
Prepare project-specific electrical and PLC architecture guidelines and interface specifications in collaboration with the PLC team.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Industry Experience:
- Expertise in Material Handling Systems or Baggage Handling Systems.
- 3 to 10+ years of relevant experience.

Skills & Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical engineering design, including Power Distribution, System and Equipment electrical control, and cable containment systems per IEC and SS638:2018 standards.
- Competent in MS Office, EPLAN P8, AutoCAD, and Navisworks CAD tools.
- Strong understanding of various control communication protocols for industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with IT networking infrastructure and hardware.
- Willingness to travel within the Asia region, with occasional trips to Europe or the Middle East.
- Experience in basic PLC programming is advantageous.
- Background in Material Handling Systems is a plus.
- Strong skills in managing expectations among Suppliers, Contractors, and Clients.
- Proven supervisory skills in leading, organizing, and delivering electrical engineering tasks and work packages.
- Experience in upgrading brownfield projects.
- Exceptional technical expertise in electrical engineering with a solid understanding of industrial automation systems.
