Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

This position will be employed through Macmillan Learning, working remotely throughout the US.

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to build our digital presence. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and drive brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategies:
    • Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content across all digital platforms.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with channel marketers and other departments to align messaging and ensure cohesive branding efforts.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Foster a vibrant online community by initiating and maintaining meaningful conversations with followers.
  • Trend Monitoring:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to keep our digital presence cutting-edge.
  • Event Promotion:
    • Leverage digital marketing to promote company events, webinars, and launches.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience:
    • 3+ years in digital marketing, preferably within the educational or publishing sectors.
  • Strong Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
  • Analytical Mindset:
    • Proficiency in using digital marketing analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative Thinker:
    • Ability to generate innovative ideas and content that aligns with our brand voice.
  • Collaboration:
    • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and their algorithms, as well as design and scheduling tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Graphic Design or Video Editing:

Work Arrangements:
  • Hours:
    • 20-25 hours per week.
