Job Description

Program Management Intern

The World Trade Center Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Management Intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, program management, and international business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of our Signature Events and Series, including the Maryland International Business Leadership Awards, AGILE Series, Women Spanning the Globe, and State of the Ports management and logistics;
  • Conduct research on Maryland's top international companies and industries;
  • Utilize client management databases and work management platforms to track and analyze program data;
  • Perform research on strategic alliances and potential new sources of revenue building for Signature Events and Series;
  • Assist with participant retention and composition analysis for Signature Events and Series;
  • Communicate with potential participants and sponsors;
  • Attend WTCI networking events and conferences;
  • Other miscellaneous duties related to WTCI events and programs.

Requirements:

  • Interest in working with emerging global executives and learning about international business development;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Professional attitude and work ethic;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word and Excel);
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
