Key Responsibilities
  • Salesforce System Management and Maintenance

- Conduct system maintenance and configuration, including user setup, roles, profiles, groups, and permission sets, as well as complex flows and validation rules, custom objects, and fields.

- Provide recommendations for system enhancements.

- Monitor and assess site metrics, system performance, and user engagement.

- Evaluate new releases and implement new functionalities.

- Regularly audit data to identify integrity issues and opportunities for process enhancements.

- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to support key business metrics.

- Create effective training modules and user documentation.

- Cultivate subject matter expertise across the organization.

  • Business Analysis

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements.

- Analyze and synthesize information to develop solutions that meet business needs.

- Partner with stakeholders to determine how business requirements can be met to enhance user experiences and reduce costs or time impacts.

- Provide expert support to business users in managing system and process changes.

- Offer expert guidance on application solutions.

- Produce functional, technical, and system design documentation.

- Create test scenarios for applications and enhancements.

- Facilitate testing of Salesforce implementations.

- Engage with third-party vendors and developers as necessary.

- Research, evaluate, and recommend innovative technologies to address business needs.

- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Application Manager or Director of Information Technology.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Salesforce setup and configuration.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in business analysis or project management.
  • Experience in a nonprofit environment is a plus.
