POSITION OVERVIEW: The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable and incremental revenue within their designated territory, ensuring that client expectations are consistently met or surpassed. This role involves developing and nurturing relationships with a diverse range of clients, including manufacturers, property owners, third-party management firms, engineering and consulting agencies, general contractors, and others, to support the strategic objectives of the customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Regional Sales Manager will focus on both acquiring new business and retaining existing clients. Regular engagement with both new and current customers will be essential to introduce and facilitate the delivery of our comprehensive service offerings, while also identifying opportunities to broaden service engagements with assigned and prospective accounts. The service lines encompass, but are not limited to, Industrial Services, Field Services, Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Waste Transportation and Disposal, along with other project-related initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, actively seeking opportunities with prospective clients related to our full range of environmental solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth with existing clients by identifying opportunities to enhance current service offerings and maximize account penetration.
  • Create and communicate strategic account plans for key clients, outlining opportunities and growth strategies.
  • Maintain strong revenue relationships with current clients while pursuing opportunities for pricing improvements and enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM tools daily to schedule and document all activities, developing comprehensive profiles on potential customers to aid in new customer acquisition.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitive dynamics in assigned regions to anticipate evolving customer needs.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the company’s service offerings, pricing structures, and business lines; promote additional services to existing and potential commercial, industrial, and recycling clients to drive targeted profitable revenue and contribute to corporate objectives.
  • Complete necessary Customer Service Agreements, reports, and documentation promptly and in alignment with company policies.
  • Travel weekly, including overnight trips as necessary.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A proven history of generating new business opportunities within the Environmental sector.

Strong technical knowledge and comprehensive understanding of environmental solutions and regulatory compliance.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations and produce high-quality, error-free work in a dynamic environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

An equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant experience in the waste or environmental industry.

A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in a client-facing role, focusing on identifying and addressing customer needs.

Must possess a valid Driver's License and demonstrate the willingness and capability to meet with clients and participate in relevant industry expos, conferences, and networking events as necessary.
