The Impact You'll Make

As a Sales Counselor at Everstory, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer experiences for families and individuals navigating end-of-life memorial planning. You'll utilize our proprietary sales process to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring that every customer feels heard and understood. By executing on monthly goals, you'll drive revenue growth and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide individuals and families through the memorial planning process, utilizing sales presentations and tools to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Provide personalized options to meet unique needs, including touring locations, identifying plot options, and advising on in-ground burial, above-ground entombment, cremation, memorials, and merchandise.
  • Manage daily CRM and lead data, generating new leads through networking, online, and cold calling, as well as categorizing leads (hot, warm, cold).
  • Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
  • Complete all required paperwork, processes, and authorizations to finalize sales and deliver services.
  • Support services at the location and participate in sales meetings to communicate progress and results.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required for offsite appointments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
