Job Overview

Serving as the primary liaison between Soho Experiential LLC and our spirits client's presence in the assigned region, the Regional Activation Manager will oversee the execution of sampling and experiential marketing programs. This role requires direct oversight and management of staffing agency partners in seven markets, ensuring best-in-class execution of local market and experiential events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee third-party agencies in assigned markets to ensure high-quality execution of sampling, local market, and experiential events.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client's Field Marketing Manager in the region.
  • Lead the transition from agency to direct staffing model where required.
  • Liaise with the client's state manager and other local stakeholders for status updates on all programming and events in the designated area.
  • Take ownership of regional programs and activations, including pre-planning, call management, execution, and recapping.
  • Manage and delegate programs for locally generated ad-hoc, brand, trade, or special events in the region alongside the Field Marketing Manager.
  • Manage sampling allocations across the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with the client's national POS manager and third-party suppliers to manage POS sourcing, inventory management, and warehousing needs for the region.
  • Manage the local activation calendar in the region with support and input from the Field Marketing Manager and Sales team.
  • Oversee Brand Ambassador market visits to the region, including timely delivery of meeting recaps.
  • Travel to key activations and local agencies as required.
  • Attend key activations in the market for quality control.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of combined relative industry experience in Field Marketing, Mass Sampling Program, and Experiential Marketing agency roles.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports to service day-to-day business is required.
  • Experience managing third-party staffing agencies.
  • Prior spirits experience with a strong understanding of legal compliance is mandatory.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and proactive problem solver.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong budget and expense management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
