Psychiatrist Opportunity with Apogee Behavioral Medicine

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with a supervising psychiatrist.
  • Engage in orientation for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and timely health records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Adhere to established standards of care in delivering medication management and psychotherapy services.
  • Refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other necessary treatment options.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Board certification or eligibility.
  • Experience in medication management is essential; therapy management experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EHR and related software for patient care.
  • Strong understanding of various models and theories related to mental health disorders.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to navigate treatment modalities within the care continuum.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and exhibit leadership qualities.
