Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and their families warmly upon arrival.
  • Handle incoming calls, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Explain forms to be signed during admission, including patient rights and living will inquiries.
  • Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect necessary deposits and co-pays following established protocols.
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment when communicating information to patients and visitors.
  • Direct any complaints from patients or families to the appropriate personnel for swift resolution.
  • Utilize age-appropriate communication techniques when interacting with patients and families.
  • Comply with all hospital policies, particularly those regarding conduct, compliance, diversity, and confidentiality.
Attendance and Risk Management:

Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial for this role. Identify potential risks to patient safety and take appropriate actions to mitigate them. Report any incidents or procedural failures in accordance with established protocols.
