Culinary Operations Manager

The Catering Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our clients. Reporting to the Catering Kitchen General Manager, this individual will lead and manage the Catering Kitchen's high-volume operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Engage with clients and team members to instill great service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement effective people management strategies to drive team performance.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to lead team members through execution and ongoing training on product specifications and the Tatte story.
- Uphold Tatte brand and visual standards across all aspects of the business.
- Ensure food safety and adhere to all food safety processes and standards.
- Communicate new product, service, and operational information effectively.
- Contribute to maintaining food, labor, and controllable costs within company guidelines.
- Assist the General Manager with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions / Essential Functions:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with emergency responsiveness as required.
- Able to work eight to ten hour-plus shifts, with the ability to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods, walk up and down stairs, and read.
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- High School education or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 6 months experience working as a supervisor in a high-volume, full-service, and/or polished fast-casual restaurant or catering production facility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience working with UltiPro, Toast - POS System, CrunchTime/TeamworX.
- ServSafe and Allergen Certifications.
- Proficient in Spanish.
