Position Overview:
OBXtek is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist to provide vital assistance for the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract. This role is essential in supporting the Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:
This contract aims to deliver comprehensive acquisition capabilities for effective program management related to space research, development, production, operations, maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Acquisition Reporting: Prepare program overviews and executive summaries, encapsulating significant program issues, gathering contract information, tracking milestones, and assessing program health. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with acquisition program baselines.
  • Data Verification: Ensure the accuracy of government-approved systems used for generating acquisition reports and maintain consistency in data presented to leadership.
  • Communications & Media: Research, draft, and edit communications regarding the Directorate's missions and initiatives. Analyze information for effective messaging and coordinate with government representatives to ensure message consistency.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with a current Secret Clearance. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Management, Business, or Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in high-visibility or mission-critical programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in business and APDP Level II or equivalent certification are desirable.
