OBXtek is seeking an Acquisition Specialist Journeyman to join our team, supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) Acquisition Support Services contract. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive acquisition capabilities for Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
- Tools, Processes, and Procedures: Develop, maintain, and refine instructions, implementation guides, charters, and standardized processes in alignment with current regulations and directives.
- Database Maintenance: Create, document, and sustain standard functional databases to assist organizations in fulfilling mission requirements.
- Planning and Document Reviews: Assess documents for compliance with applicable military, federal, and international standards, reporting findings to the Government.
- Reporting and Recommendations: Identify discrepancies in acquisition reports and provide documented findings and recommendations to the Government for approval and monitoring.
- Contractor Recommendations: Offer insights to the Government on deliverables or services, ensuring informed decision-making that aligns with public interest.
Salary Information
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens with a current Secret Clearance. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Management, Business, Economics, or Engineering is required, along with 10 years of significant experience in high-visibility or mission-critical programs.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in business and APDP Level II or equivalent certification are desirable.
