OBXtek is seeking a qualified Acquisition Specialist at the Journeyman level to provide Program Acquisition Support (PAS) for the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). This role is essential in delivering comprehensive acquisition services for Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage with Directorate leadership and support Space Force clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and coordinating briefings, reports, and special projects.
- Responding to data calls, document reviews, and acquisition reporting.
- Reviewing program documents for compliance with various regulations and standards.
- Managing tasks effectively, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
- Coordinating with personnel to track task statuses and metrics.
- Preparing memoranda and program office briefings as required.
- Reviewing task responses for Government approval and distribution.
- Conducting research and analysis to support situational awareness.
- Maintaining key acquisition documents and ensuring timely communication.
- Implementing administrative policies for effective performance.
- Coordinating program information for public release.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship and a current Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Management, Business, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in high-visibility programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with DoD tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in business and APDP Level II certification are desirable.
