About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Growth Account Executive to join our Sales team at Karat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with mid-market clients and prospective clients, creating trust and confidence at multiple levels within and across engineering leadership and recruiting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate pipeline, sale, retention, and upsell opportunities through consultative selling techniques and unique perspectives on each client's business, recruiting strategy, and processes.
  • Research and target relevant companies using prospecting tools, networking, and other methods.
  • Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and close across all product lines by working with clients, prospects, and internal teams.
  • Expand within other divisions within mid-market clients as needed.
  • Partner with additional go-to-market teams on retention, expansion, and upsell opportunities.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional SaaS/B2B/cloud-based sales experience.
  • Previous experience as a BDR, MDR, or SDR preferred.
  • Proven track record in handling sophisticated mid-market sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment (5-figure and 6-figure deals).
  • Sales-related experience with CTOs and leadership within Talent and/or People teams or within the recruiting industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
  • History working with Client Success, Sales Ops, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong fluency in written and spoken English.
