Mid-Market Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Growth Account Executive to join our Sales team at Karat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with mid-market clients and prospective clients, creating trust and confidence at multiple levels within and across engineering leadership and recruiting teams.
Key Responsibilities- Generate pipeline, sale, retention, and upsell opportunities through consultative selling techniques and unique perspectives on each client's business, recruiting strategy, and processes.
- Research and target relevant companies using prospecting tools, networking, and other methods.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and close across all product lines by working with clients, prospects, and internal teams.
- Expand within other divisions within mid-market clients as needed.
- Partner with additional go-to-market teams on retention, expansion, and upsell opportunities.
- 3+ years of professional SaaS/B2B/cloud-based sales experience.
- Previous experience as a BDR, MDR, or SDR preferred.
- Proven track record in handling sophisticated mid-market sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment (5-figure and 6-figure deals).
- Sales-related experience with CTOs and leadership within Talent and/or People teams or within the recruiting industry preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
- History working with Client Success, Sales Ops, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
- Strong fluency in written and spoken English.
