Field Sales Executive

As a Field Sales Executive with Staples, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the public sector and commercial markets. Your territory will be the state of Pennsylvania, where you will build relationships with customers and identify opportunities for sales growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Qualifying prospects based on customer size, spend, and potential
- Routing opportunities to fellow sales team members based on sales qualifiers
- Scheduling appointments and meeting with prospective customers to present Quill values and solutions
- Attending conferences, tradeshows, and events representing Quill and winning new customers
- Creating and presenting custom pricing solutions to potential high growth commercial customers
- Leveraging education contracts, including Cooperative Purchasing partnerships and Bids, to acquire new education customers or drive growth for existing
You will work closely with sales leadership and peers to drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies. A strong understanding of the public sector market and ability to build relationships with customers is essential for success in this role.
Requirements include:
- 4+ years of field sales experience
- High School diploma/GED
- Ability to travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs, and conferences (approximately 50% travel)
Preferred qualifications include 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
