Engineering Project Coordinator
to support our initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our military partners receive superior engineering services.
In this role, you will have the chance to significantly contribute to the effectiveness of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Documentation Management:
Oversee and prepare essential project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFIs), material submissions, and construction inquiries. Evaluate and offer solutions to promote the safe, efficient, and cost-effective use of resources.
Technical Design Assistance:
Support technical design evaluations, ensuring alignment with design policies and relevant codes. Collaborate with the Facilities Management team and members of the Design Working Group.
On-Site Project Oversight:
Conduct site assessments, analyze architectural plans, and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with timelines, specifications, and safety protocols.
In-House Design Development:
Create economical designs for local maintenance, repair, and enhancement projects. Execute technical design tasks to generate drawings, specifications, and work statements.
Proposal and Construction Monitoring:
Participate in pre-solicitation site evaluations, provide technical assessments, and oversee construction monitoring. Facilitate operation and maintenance training for upgraded systems.
What You'll Do:
Prepare precise project documentation and submissions.
Conduct thorough technical reviews of design documents.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and regulations.
Perform site assessments and devise cost-effective solutions.
Manage project timelines and safety compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
2+ years of experience in engineering or related disciplines.
Familiarity with Federal, State, and Department of Defense engineering standards.
Strong skills in preparing, reviewing, and assessing technical documentation.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
