Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Registered Nurses elevate the standard by delivering clinical expertise and the highest quality of care with compassion.

As a Medical Surgical RN in our 32-bed unit, you will provide care for a diverse range of diagnoses, focusing on post-surgical, orthopedic, neurologic, and telemetry populations.

The variety of Med/Surg will ensure continuous learning and the ability to approach each patient with confidence.

We are a supportive team seeking a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate the health status of patients, adhering to established standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to optimize outcomes and utilize available resources effectively.

- Deliver direct nursing care and oversee non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
- Provide education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, condition, and circumstances, integrating patient and family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Registered Nurse in TX or holds a compact license.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years is required.
  • Experience in Neuroscience is preferred.
