Job Overview

The Strategic Human Resources Partner (HRBP) serves as the key HR authority for designated regions. This role is pivotal in achieving outcomes through the execution of company-wide initiatives and policies. As a vital member of the regional leadership team, the HRBP fosters and sustains organizational culture, addresses operational challenges, and offers expert advice on HR-related issues. This position acts as a bridge between local management and HR specialists, ensuring comprehensive oversight and guidance on HR matters across various business sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive employee engagement by effectively managing employment regulations, HR policies, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and support to both employees and leaders on all HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and workplace dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Strategic HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise to ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives tailored to business needs.
  • Stay informed on legal compliance regarding employee matters and take necessary actions to ensure adherence.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, offering a cohesive HR perspective on business and employee issues.
  • Influence local leaders to adopt a unified organizational perspective and align with strategic goals.
  • Propose innovative approaches and policies to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  • Manage employee relations issues by gathering insights, conducting investigations, and advising leaders on appropriate actions.
  • Oversee the implementation of HR policies and programs across business units, ensuring responsiveness to local needs.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Development teams to enhance onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Maintain oversight of the local budget and seek necessary approvals.
  • Ensure proper documentation of HR matters and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Be available for flexible working hours as needed to meet business demands.
  • Travel as required to engage with employees and leadership across the region.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the role's responsibilities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. SPHR certification is highly recommended.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a focus on consulting for mid to senior-level leadership.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of key HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, and Risk Management.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret and apply complex documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with a commitment to staying current.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills to analyze employee issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse perspectives and working styles.
  • Proficient in organizing work to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.

Tools and Technology:

  • Proficient in using personal computers and general office equipment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS tools such as Dayforce, iCIMS, or Taleo.
