Role Overview

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Lead Cloud Engineering Program Manager to spearhead initiatives in Cloud Engineering and Data Privacy within the Product & Technology Program Management division. This role entails overseeing a variety of Cloud Engineering projects with an emphasis on Data Privacy, GDPR compliance, and Trust, collaborating closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and fellow Program Managers.

To thrive in this position, you will need to exhibit exceptional organizational capabilities in managing comprehensive cloud engineering projects, excel in influencing stakeholders without direct authority, navigate ambiguity effectively, and possess the ability to grasp technical details swiftly. A keen eye for detail, a commitment to outcomes, and the ability to simplify complex challenges in a technical setting are essential. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic, agile, and collaborative environment, adept at establishing order amidst uncertainty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee sensitive data privacy processes and workflows, driving improvements that minimize manual efforts and enhance both internal and external customer experiences.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and customer-facing groups to address issues and streamline existing processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of intricate data flows and interconnected systems, quickly becoming a trusted advisor and expert in the domain.
  • Lead the alignment and execution of critical cross-functional initiatives and programs.
  • Manage end-to-end program execution across various teams, including risk assessment, communication, conflict resolution, and dependency oversight.
  • Work with relevant partners to proactively identify, communicate, manage, and mitigate program risks.
  • Organize and conduct regular stakeholder and leadership meetings, tracking action items and providing timely updates on program status, schedules, risks, and obstacles.
  • Drive process enhancements and utilize metrics to boost transparency, overall team performance, and efficiency in key cross-organizational programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and transparency.
Job Designation

Hybrid: Employees split their time between in-office and remote work, with a minimum expectation of in-office presence.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale, complex, cross-functional global programs.
  • Proven ability to formulate clear program strategies and high-level plans.
  • Experience in building strong relationships and partnerships across teams.
  • Capability to synthesize data from diverse sources and present it in an easily digestible format for management and execution teams.
  • Experience in developing program metrics and creating dashboards or scorecards to monitor project health and progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong business insight and technical expertise, particularly in Azure, with the ability to quickly comprehend and communicate technical and product concepts to varied audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Azure-related certification or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in driving data privacy initiatives and processes is advantageous.
  • Experience in managing cloud engineering projects within an enterprise SaaS context.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills and a strong focus on delivering effective solutions.
  • Strong negotiation abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in navigating ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships and partnerships in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
Wage Transparency

In accordance with applicable laws, the following pay ranges are provided for various locations:

California: $134,900 - $216,975 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000 - $190,550 base salary

This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
