Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor engineering delivery, objectives, metrics, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical leadership to outline product and technology roadmaps.
  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to address customer projects effectively.
  • Design and implement automated workflows that minimize manual tasks and enhance overall efficiency and scalability.
  • Engage with and influence key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure compliance, security, and operational requirements are met or surpassed.
  • Lead sprint management activities in partnership with engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in technical program management with software engineering teams.
  • 7+ years of experience collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience leading a team of system, infrastructure, and/or security engineers on large-scale projects.
  • Expertise in leading software development initiatives (e.g., Agile) to create automation, testing, and monitoring tools using languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs for ongoing improvement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical peers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Master's degree or advanced technical degree.
  • Familiarity with government compliance requirements/programs such as NIST and CMMC.
  • 5+ years of experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
  • Experience with open-source technologies.
  • Experience maintaining distributed systems and web services.
  • Understanding of design principles for scalability, performance, and reliability.
