Job Overview

The role of a Terminal and Pipeline Operator encompasses a variety of responsibilities essential for the smooth operation of fuel delivery and management.

Operators are tasked with managing valves and manifolds during vessel off-loading, ensuring compliance with established protocols as mandated by the organization and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are critical to the position, alongside those previously mentioned. The work environment may vary, exposing operators to diverse weather conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, and noise from aircraft operations.

  • Manage valves and manifolds for the efficient off-loading of vessels, adhering to company and regulatory procedures.
  • Control valves and manifolds for the receipt of products via pipeline, tanker, or barge.
  • Conduct training sessions for personnel.
  • Maintain accurate operational reports and documentation.
  • Engage in emergency response training and drills.
  • Perform quality control testing on fuel.
  • Execute janitorial and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to the station's attendance and punctuality policies.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and obtain necessary security clearances.
  • Legal authorization to work in the employment country.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or training is a plus.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English, with basic math skills for measurement comprehension.
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs as needed.

Compensation for this role ranges from $21.22 to $28.50 per hour, influenced by various factors such as skills, education, responsibilities, and experience.
