As a Terminal and Pipeline Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Managing valves and manifolds for the off-loading of vessels while ensuring compliance with company protocols and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The following tasks are essential to this role, in addition to those outlined above. Some duties may be performed in various weather and environmental conditions, including precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine emissions, dust, and noise. Tasks will be conducted both indoors and outdoors near stationary and moving aircraft (including rotating propellers and engines).

  • Manage valves and manifolds for the off-loading of vessels, ensuring adherence to company and U.S. Coast Guard procedures.
  • Control valves and manifolds for product receipt from suppliers via pipeline tankers or barge deliveries.
  • Conduct training for personnel.
  • Maintain operational reports and records for the department.
  • Participate in emergency response drills.
  • Perform fuel quality control testing.
  • Carry out janitorial and ground maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to the station's attendance and punctuality policies.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug screenings, and maintain eligibility for an airport security badge, while being insurable under the company's insurance policies.
  • Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years, along with any required FAA Airport identification or authorizations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English and capable of performing basic mathematical calculations, particularly in understanding measurements for reporting fuel storage and consumption levels.
  • Must be able to lift weights ranging from 50 to 100 pounds on occasion.

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.22 to $28.50 per hour, influenced by various factors including skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel requirements.
