About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Services Representative to join our team at Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company. As a key member of our branch office sales/service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting the financial needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process various customer transactions efficiently, accurately, and compliantly.
  • Balance cash drawers, night deposits, and ATM services, with back-up responsibilities for vault-related and ancillary operational duties.
  • Stay up-to-date on banking regulations and ensure compliance at all times.
  • Have a high-level understanding of our bank's products and services, including technology.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, addressing questions and concerns regarding deposit accounts, loans, fees, and other banking activities.
  • Refer clients and prospects to appropriate partners for deposits, loans, cash management, merchant, or wealth management services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree or general banking diploma preferred
  • Training in customer service, communication, and relationship building
  • Ability to communicate across various channels and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of branch transactional tasks and operations, as well as bank products and services
  • Proficiency in using various types of technology and software
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a related position

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, talking, hearing, walking, using hands and fingers, handling objects, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Regular use of a computer is also necessary.
