Personal Banker

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team at Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

• Process various customer transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawers, night deposits, and ATM balances, and perform back-up duties as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on banking regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide expert knowledge of bank products and services, including technology, to clients and prospects.
• Offer exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Refer clients and prospects to relevant bank partners to meet their financial needs.

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or general banking diploma preferred.
• Training in customer service, communication, and relationship building necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various channels and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of branch transactional tasks and operations, as well as proficiency in bank technology and software.
• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a related position required.

The physical demands of this position require regular sitting, standing, talking, hearing, walking, using hands and fingers, and reaching with hands and arms. At times, the employee may be required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Regular use of a computer is also required.
