The Continuous Improvement Lead is a key role responsible for driving efficiency and improving operational performance across our manufacturing facilities. This includes implementing and developing Advanced Manufacturing (AM) systems, centerline definition, standard development, and control strategies to empower operators to address out-of-control situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate line loss analysis and develop plans to eliminate waste and improve yield
  • Lead transformation analysis and centerline definition, and develop associated standards
  • Analyze daily and shift line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities
  • Investigate initial root cause of top stops and develop plans to address them
  • Attend Level 1 and Level 2 MDI meetings to discuss top stops and root cause
  • Establish countermeasures in plans for the day and ensure centerline/CIL completion and compliance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing environment experience and 5+ years in food manufacturing preferred
  • Experience leading Continuous Improvement projects and a good understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts preferred
  • Yellow or Green Belt certifications preferred; intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
  • Ability to understand and write Management system documents, SOPs, and OPLs; strong planning/organizational skills and communication skills required
