Quality Improvement Specialist

Bright Light, a part of the Sevita family, provides center-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities.
About the RoleAs a Quality Improvement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. You will work closely with state leadership and the state QI team to develop and implement strategies for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Represent the state on the QI Network leadership team and participate in state staff meetings
- Develop state-specific continuous quality improvement plans
- Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise on process improvement initiatives
- Implement and maintain systems for effective communication with state leadership and QI staff
- Partner with Operations to identify training needs and develop resources
- Risk Management
- Oversee the implementation of the incident reporting system
- Organize and manage monthly trended incident reporting
- Consult with Operations to improve safety and minimize risk
- Conduct complex internal investigations
- Develop and oversee quality and compliance monitoring systems
- Support operations to develop corrective action plans
- Complete Network Performance Audits
- Work with State leadership to develop policies
- Provide technical assistance and direction on corrective action plans
- Customer Engagement
- Partner with state leadership and operations to develop improvement plans
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to determine and implement local customer engagement activities
- Direct and manage the performance of QI Specialists
- Supervise and manage assigned staff
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a social services field
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Licensure preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to influence others
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships
- Self-motivated and collaborative
