Maintenance Lead

Thorne Research is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities for production equipment, assigning and overseeing the work of maintenance personnel, and ensuring that all maintenance personnel are trained in SOPs and that they are properly followed.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage maintenance activities for production equipment, including assigning and overseeing the work of maintenance personnel.
- Ensure all maintenance personnel are trained in SOPs and that they are properly followed.
- Establish schedules, methods, and inspections to assure areas of responsibility are maintained in a constant state of inspection-readiness, including cleanliness, safety, and compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Participate in the defining and development of standards, policies, and procedures pertaining to the Maintenance department.
- Train, lead, and evaluate employee performance; provide development opportunities and coaching support.
- Perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled equipment maintenance duties.
- Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors.
- Seek formal and informal performance assessments of self, including performance versus expectations and goals, behaviors, and leadership potential.
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Food manufacturing preferred.
