  • Position Overview
    • The individual in this role will be tasked with a variety of customer-centric responsibilities within the Access Center, including pre-registration verification, pre-admission procedures, limited financial counseling, appointment scheduling and follow-ups, co-payment collection, collaboration with bed placement coordinators, order entry, and account verification and updates. This position requires a collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary clinical environment. Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve working in various locations and capacities to meet the needs of our patients. The employee may also be expected to report during adverse weather conditions, emergencies, or other critical situations.
  • Educational Requirements
    • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Candidates with some college coursework in Business Administration, Allied Health, or a related field are preferred.
  • Professional Experience
    • Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in a healthcare or office setting, or a suitable combination of education and experience. Exceptional customer service skills are essential. Familiarity with pre-registration processes, registration, insurance verification, medical terminology, and ICD-10 coding is advantageous.
