Job Summary

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth within a defined territory. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and analytical skills to develop leads, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably in the building products industry, and be able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through self-generated activities and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including corporate house accounts.
  • Collaborate with external sales representatives to coordinate sales activities and provide market insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales data and market intelligence to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain key account planning documents to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the building products industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • NetSuite experience a plus.
