Job Overview

The **Candy Boutique Team Leader** is tasked with delivering exceptional customer service through effective management of a dedicated team. This role encompasses hiring, motivating, recognizing achievements, coaching, and resolving issues. The position also involves collaborating with the President on staffing, training, marketing strategies, and operational scheduling, while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations by scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, while monitoring work outcomes.
  • Recruit, select, and train staff to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Manage financial objectives by preparing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and overseeing daily cash flow.
  • Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and enhance service delivery.
  • Guide team performance through coaching, counseling, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensure product availability by managing inventory and approving vendor contracts.
  • Develop pricing strategies by analyzing market trends and sales promotions.
  • Promote merchandise through effective advertising and display strategies.
  • Implement security measures to protect inventory and ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Maintain compliance with legal standards to uphold the store's reputation.
  • Adapt marketing strategies based on financial performance and sales data.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by participating in workshops and networking within the industry.
  • Ensure operational consistency by enforcing policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall store operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of management experience in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate others.
  • Familiarity with retail and food service operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Point of Sale systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 30 lbs regularly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the role.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or GED, combined with three to five years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and utilize standard kitchen and office equipment.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with varying days and hours, including evenings and weekends based on business needs.
