Position Overview

As a Restaurant Operations Supervisor at Great Southern Restaurants, your contribution is vital to our establishment's success. You will take charge of managing the daily functions of one of our dining venues, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
  • Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the restaurant.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant while adhering to safety and food quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional guest service through effective conflict resolution and proactive problem-solving.
  • Manage departmental efficiency during assigned shifts, including conducting pre-shift meetings and allocating tables to service staff.
  • Facilitate training and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required to support business operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in front-of-house restaurant operations.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old with foundational knowledge of dining room protocols, service techniques, cash handling, and familiarity with MS Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
    • Standing and walking for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
    • Performing tasks that involve reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
