Job Objective:


Oversee the production area to guarantee compliance with the SQDC framework, provide adequate support to team members, and ensure that production and delivery goals are achieved.


Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold Jupiter Bach's operational framework of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
• Ensure team members adhere to the SQDC framework
• Conduct daily meetings with management for scheduling and updates
• Verify that the team operates according to current work instructions
• Report any HR-related issues to management promptly
• Deliver precise hands-on training to team members as required
• Conduct audits effectively and within designated timeframes
• Ensure the team's compliance with company policies and report any violations to management immediately
• Manage inventory of production materials as directed by management
• Be prepared to fulfill managerial responsibilities in the manager's absence

Supervisor Responsibilities:

In the absence of the manager, the Supervisor must competently perform all managerial tasks, including but not limited to: setting production and delivery schedules, reporting, inventory management, HR matters, and meetings. Delegation of tasks to team members is permissible but requires prior approval from management.

When the manager is present, the Supervisor's primary duty is to monitor the production area to ensure compliance with the SQDC framework and provide necessary support to team members. The Supervisor must closely track adherence to the production schedule throughout the day.

Identify and address any factors that may hinder the production schedule and communicate unresolved issues to management promptly.

Maintain effective communication with other departments and ensure accurate documentation related to production and delivery schedules.

Record and report relevant information as required by management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changes as directed by management.

Ensure understanding and compliance with GE specifications.



Shift Information:


1st Shift (morning/daytime) operates Monday - Thursday from 5am – 3:30pm & 2nd Shift (evening/overnight) operates Monday - Thursday from 2pm-12:30am, with potential overtime and mandatory Fridays during peak production periods.



Qualifications:
• Preferred background in quality assurance
• Familiarity with basic quality terminology (Quality Hold, NCR, SDR, CTQ, etc.)
• Ability to read technical drawings and utilize measuring instruments effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems is essential
• Understanding of the production process is necessary
• Proven reliability, performance, and attendance record required
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills
• Capability to read, comprehend, and convey work instructions to team members
• Willingness to assist in other departments and production roles as needed
• Forklift certification is a plus
