Job Title: Project Manager

Aspen Publishing is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the development of new products and collaborate with various departments to achieve our mission.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, managing resources, and achieving project goals for a family of JD-Next products. This includes an online course and high-stakes law school entrance exam delivered multiple times per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project and program plans, including timelines, milestones, and required resources.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with various managers and personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage 3rd party vendors and consultants, and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and management to ensure project alignment with current testing industry regulations and project goals.
  • Project Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress, budget, and quality assurance.
  • Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess impacts and outcomes of initiatives to identify and implement efficiencies in processes and policies.
  • Research and Data Collection: Assist with research and data collection plans.
  • Customer Support: Liaise with customers, course assistants, and others as needed to support course delivery and student experience.
  • Content Development: Coordinate needs assessment, market research, and development planning to inform creation and revision of course and resource content of JD-Next course.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with production quality assurance related to JD-Next course.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree plus 8-10+ years related experience, preferably in the testing industry.
  • Research and Analysis: Experience assisting with generating and compiling study progress and financial reports and examining complex research projects from planning through completion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoho, CMS, NetSuite, SharePoint, MS Project or similar project management tool.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management, organizational, budgeting, and planning skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to deliver quality, meet deadlines, analyze issues and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of testing, data collection and analysis, research practices is a plus.
