We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Process Automation Engineer to become an integral part of our proficient team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit deep knowledge by establishing departmental standards and refining current operational practices.
- Oversee and allocate tasks to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
- Guide clients through strategic assessments to formulate concepts supported by engineering analyses for the enhancement, expansion, or automation of existing facilities.
- Collaborate with clients, various IPS disciplines, and vendors to devise comprehensive automation solutions.
- Advise on the appropriate implementation of ISA S95 levels to fulfill client requirements both presently and in the future.
- Engage actively with process design and project teams to facilitate the successful execution of project studies.
- Craft designs and specifications for DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based process control systems tailored for IPS clients and projects.
- Execute automation-related tasks as assigned, including I/O lists, instrumentation lists, and the specification of control elements.
- Support the development of IQ/OQ documentation and partake in systems analysis, validation, and verification processes.
- Identify, assess, and collaborate with third-party system integrators as necessary to align with project and organizational goals.
- Coordinate with end users and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure the effective application of automation products.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of diverse engineering experience with comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and applications within the Process Automation sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering - ME/EE/ChemE/Automation/Manufacturing or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial process control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- At least 4 years of experience with instrumentation in pharmaceutical processes.
- Proficient in using engineering design software and computer-aided drafting tools.
- Familiarity with ISA standards and the interpretation of P&I diagrams.
- Experience in developing cGMP and GAMP automation lifecycle documentation.
- Preferred: Registered Professional Engineer.
Work Environment:
- Travel may be required based on project needs.
This role is considered safety-sensitive, involving fieldwork and participation in activities at client sites in various operational environments.
