About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Management Specialist to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis support, performance data, timely cost forecasts, and forward-looking advice to project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Develop and maintain project financial models, forecasts, and budgets
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to project managers
    • Assist in the development of project proposals and fee estimates
  • Project Coordination and Administration
    • Coordinate project meetings and ensure timely completion of project tasks
    • Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and change orders
    • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and stakeholders
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external clients
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, financial analysis, or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
