Join Our Team as an Operations Manager

At SafeSplash, we recognize that swimming is an essential life skill. Our mission is to provide exceptional swim lessons with a focus on safety, confidence, and individual attention. We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the successful functioning of our swim school, ensuring excellence in all aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Management: Collaborate closely with the General Manager to establish and uphold operational policies and procedures. You will assist in managing the overall operational schedule and staff assignments while monitoring financial performance.

  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage employees to foster a positive work environment. Ensure that all staff members are oriented and scheduled effectively.
  • Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of customer service. Analyze customer feedback and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Human Resources: Handle administrative activities related to staff employment, including policy management and compliance.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Support local marketing efforts and community outreach to enhance our brand presence.
  • Retail Management: Assist in managing inventory and sales at the location.

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative leadership style that promotes team growth.
  • Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive and welcoming demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills:

While not required, experience in swim instruction or competitive swimming is a plus. Relevant certifications such as Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, and CPR/AED are highly valued.
