Job Description:

Reports to:
General Manager

Overview:

Lead the successful operations of SafeSplash by ensuring excellence in the overall management of the facility, focusing on business operations, employee management, client services, marketing, retail, and community engagement.

NO SWIM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Key Responsibilities:


Business Operations: Collaborate closely with the General Manager to establish and uphold location policies and procedures within the SafeSplash franchise framework. Assist in managing the operational schedule and staff assignments while monitoring financial performance.


Employee Management: Foster a productive work environment by orienting, scheduling, and training staff. Maintain a safe workplace and cultivate a positive culture that promotes employee development.

Work in tandem with the General Manager to achieve these objectives within the swim program.

Oversee the training and management of all Client Service Representatives.


Drive staff performance by clearly communicating job expectations, conducting regular evaluations, and providing coaching and support. Develop and enforce policies and productivity standards.


Customer Relations: Ensure an exceptional customer experience at SafeSplash. Uphold high service standards among all employees, analyze customer service issues, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies.


Human Resources: In addition to employee management duties, oversee administrative functions related to staff employment, including policy management.


Marketing: Assist with local marketing initiatives, manage grassroots efforts, and engage with community programs. Maintain communication with current and prospective clients.

Retail: Support retail operations by managing inventory and sales.

Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a customer service environment.

Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.

Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

A collaborative leader who values team development.

Excellent communication and guest relations skills.

Strong multitasking abilities to manage schedules and customer interactions effectively.

Positive and welcoming demeanor.

Flexible Schedule:
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in swim instruction or competitive swimming, including knowledge of basic strokes and teaching methodologies.

Certifications (Will certify the right candidate):
Current Red Cross Lifeguard or equivalent

WSI - Water Safety Instructor certification is a plus

CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certifications for adults and children

Lifeguard and Lifeguard Instructor certifications

Uniforms:
Required to wear SafeSplash uniforms, which include a branded shirt and appropriate pants. SafeSplash provides one shirt per year; additional uniforms must be purchased by the employee.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation:
$18-20/hr
