GENERAL FUNCTION

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in delivering the Target Optical Way and ensuring an exceptional Guest Experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit leadership qualities such as effective communication, team collaboration, critical thinking, and a results-driven mindset while providing stylish solutions for our guests.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborates with the Optical Store Manager to devise strategies aimed at achieving profitable sales in alignment with current objectives.
  • Meets daily sales targets through the impeccable execution of the WOW Guest Experience principles.
  • Inspires and motivates the team to create a simple, enjoyable, and fashionable experience by embodying the Target Optical Way.
  • Provides leadership on the sales floor to guarantee that guests receive a premier experience by guiding and supporting team members.
  • Fosters and promotes a culture that builds brand recognition by attracting new guests daily.
  • Assists the Optical Store Manager in maintaining professional relationships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
  • Actively recruits, interviews, trains, develops, and retains the right Optical Team Members (OTM).
  • Supports the Store Manager in holding Team Members accountable by offering coaching and development to ensure the WOW Guest Experience through regular check-ins.
  • Assists the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with eSchedule, Guest Retention, Guest Driving Behaviors, and all current Brand initiatives.
  • Partners with the Store Manager to ensure adherence to all operational policies and procedures, including merchandising, store presentation, timely implementation of marketing programs, accurate sales transactions, and effective use of sales strategies.
  • Exemplifies the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • ABO Certification (Preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Proficient Selling Skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Experience in Selection and Recruitment
  • Strong Critical Thinking abilities

Compensation is influenced by various factors, including location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage laws.
